License Terms

The scope of the licence granted with Alvar Suite. Version 2.2, last updated August 23, 2026.

What You CAN Do

  • You may use the presets, sound effects, textures, bundles and tools included in your plan in an unlimited number of personal and commercial projects, including client work, monetised video, advertising and broadcast.
  • You may monetise the works you create. Final works incorporating the content are yours; no attribution and no royalty is required.
  • You may use the output of the AI features commercially. As between you and us, that output belongs to you.
  • You may use the Service on up to two devices concurrently. Signing in on a third device releases the one least recently used, and you may release the device you are on at any time by logging out from the account menu.
  • You may continue to access the content included in a one-time purchase for as long as your account remains open, including subsequent updates to that content. The library is actively curated, so an individual item may occasionally be updated, replaced or withdrawn on the terms of clause 10 of the Terms of Service, which also sets out what you are entitled to if that ever materially affects something you bought.

What You CANNOT Do

  • You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, lend or otherwise make available the underlying assets themselves, including presets, sound files, textures and project files, whether modified or unmodified and whether for charge or free of charge. The licence covers using the content in your work, not passing the content on.
  • You may not share, lend, sell or transfer your account or credentials, nor use one licence across a team. One licence covers one individual; multi-seat licensing is available on request.
  • You may not extract, scrape or systematically download the content library, nor circumvent any licence verification, metering, trial limit or rate limit.
  • You may not use the content to develop, train or improve any product, model or dataset that competes with the Service.
  • You may not claim authorship of the content itself, nor register it, or any trivial modification of it, as your own intellectual property.
  • You may not incorporate the content into a product whose principal value is the content itself, including template packs, preset collections, stock libraries or NFTs.

One licence, one individual

The licence is personal to you and tied to your account. It extends to work you perform for an employer or client, but it does not license that employer or client: each individual operating the Service requires their own licence. For team deployments, contact us about multi-seat licensing.

Ownership and grant

The licence is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable. It confers no ownership: all intellectual property in the Service, the content library and the Alvar and AlvarCreations marks remains ours or our licensors'. Works you create, and AI output generated for you, are yours.

Breach and enforcement

The licence terminates automatically on a material breach of these terms. Where we have reasonable grounds to believe that unauthorised sharing or distribution has occurred, we may suspend the account and access immediately pending investigation, since such distribution causes immediate and irreversible harm; we notify you of the reason, you may respond, and we lift the suspension promptly if it is not substantiated. Established breach may result in termination and revocation of the licence, and we may set off any loss we have suffered against sums otherwise refundable to you, as provided in clause 11 of the Terms of Service. Work you have already finished stays yours: enforcement does not reach back into it, and no right that mandatory consumer law confers is affected. The one exception is the case clause 11.7 of the Terms of Service describes, where the licence ends because of infringement of our intellectual property or unauthorised distribution of the content; that clause sets out in full what continues to apply.

Scope, changes and questions

We may add to, update or withdraw individual items from the content library; clause 10 of the Terms of Service governs changes and your rights where one materially affects you.
